Erica Lagunas, CMA, is a certified medical assistant at the Express Med Spa clinic in Mount Greenwood, on the South Side of Chicago. She has worked in aesthetics since 2014 and cares for clients in both English and Spanish.

Before joining Express Med Spa, Erica gained hands-on experience in plastic surgery and dermatology settings. She earned an associate degree from Robert Morris University in 2009 and completed laser training at Express Med Spa in 2020.

Microneedling is the treatment she enjoys most. In her words, the results are amazing, and she loves showing clients their before and after photos. She also helps clients with laser hair removal, AquaFacials, chemical peels, dermaplaning facials, Emsella sessions and B12 injections at the Mount Greenwood clinic.

Her approach starts with a conversation. She recommends a free consultation so she can sit down with each client, hear what brought them in, and plan treatments around their goals. Erica works alongside the Express Med Spa nursing team, helping turn each treatment plan into results.

Definitely worth over 1/2 hr drive to visit Erica for my facials. Super attentive and takes her time with you. I've had a couple of facials done by her and each one makes my skin feel so much better! I'm planning on VI peel this fall and can't wait! Will keep you posted on results once done. Definitely recommend this Spa location!!!
