About This Treatment
What follows is what a liquid nose job can and cannot change. Filler camouflages a bump or a dip; it does not make the nose smaller or narrower, and it does not fix a breathing problem. Working out whether your goal is a filler goal is most of what happens at the consultation.
Treatment Pricing
Liquid rhinoplasty starts at $349 for a Revanesse Versa+ syringe at Express Med Spa, and the price is the same at all four clinics: La Grange, Frankfort, Shorewood and Mount Greenwood (Chicago). Most people need less than a full syringe. The price is subject to change, and your treatment plan is based on a planned consultation with staff.

Who Liquid Rhinoplasty (Non-Surgical Nose Job) in Chicagoland is For
Good Candidates? Is This Right for You?
Concerns This Treatment Addresses
Liquid rhinoplasty addresses specific contour issues on the bridge and tip of the nose using added volume. Where one of these is your main concern, and you like the general size of your nose, filler is often a direct, lower-risk answer.
- A dorsal hump or bump visible from the side
- A low, flat, or scooped bridge
- A drooping or under-projected tip
- Mild asymmetry between the two sides of the nose
- A small dent, divot, or contour step left by a prior injury or a previous rhinoplasty
Who Is a Good Candidate
You are likely to do well with liquid rhinoplasty if your main concern is a bump, a dip, a droop, or asymmetry rather than the overall size of your nose, your skin over the nose is in reasonably good condition, and you are comfortable with a result that is not permanent and may need a touch-up in twelve to eighteen months. Liquid rhinoplasty at Express Med Spa is performed by licensed nurse injectors. Express Med Spa is a nurse-practitioner-led practice, founded by Stefanie Drozd, MSN-APRN. Your injector examines your nose from the front and in profile, confirms what filler can and cannot change for your specific anatomy, and tells you plainly when a filler result would not meet your goal.
When Filler Is Not the Answer
Some of the most valuable consultations here end without an injection. These are the situations where we will tell you filler is the wrong choice.
- You want your nose smaller, narrower, or shorter. Filler only adds volume. Reducing the size of a nose requires removing tissue, which is a surgical procedure.
- You have a breathing problem. A deviated septum or internal valve narrowing is a functional issue that filler does not correct, and in some cases filler placed over a narrow internal valve can make external breathing feel more restricted.
- Your hump or asymmetry is severe. There is a ceiling on how much camouflage a gel can provide before the area looks over-filled rather than straighter. A large structural correction needs surgery.
- You have had prior filler in the nose that has not been assessed. Hyaluronic acid can persist for a long time in this low-movement area. Adding to filler already in place, without knowing what is there, is how this area gets overfilled.
- You are looking for a permanent result. Filler fades over twelve to eighteen months. If permanence matters more than avoiding surgery, that is a reason to consider a surgical consultation instead.
Safety and Who Should Wait
This is a small procedure performed in one of the more technically demanding sites on the face. The skin over the nose is thin, the tissue planes are tightly packed, and the blood supply sits close to the surface and connects, by way of the angular and dorsal nasal arteries, to the ophthalmic artery that supplies the eye. Vascular occlusion, filler entering a blood vessel instead of the surrounding tissue, is rare, but when it happens in the nose it can cause skin tissue loss and, in the most severe and well documented cases, vision loss. This is not unique to the nose; it is a recognized risk of injecting anywhere on the central face, and the reason it is treated seriously here is that published case reviews consistently name the nose, along with the glabella between the brows, among the higher-risk sites for this specific complication. It is why slow, low-pressure, small-volume technique matters, and why your injector keeps hyaluronidase on hand throughout the appointment.
Reasons to postpone or decline
- An active cold sore, infection, inflamed spot, rash, or hives at or near the nose. Wait until it has cleared.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding, and anyone under 21. Safety has not been established in either group.
- A history of anaphylaxis or multiple severe allergies, hypersensitivity to amide anesthetics such as lidocaine, or a known allergy to gram positive bacterial proteins.
- A bleeding disorder, or treatment with an anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication. That is not automatically a reason to decline, but it raises the chance of bruising, needs discussing, and sometimes needs clearance from your prescriber. Never stop a prescribed medication on your own.
- A tendency to keloid or hypertrophic scarring.
- Immunosuppressive treatment, which calls for caution.
- A prior surgical rhinoplasty within the last twelve months, where internal healing and blood supply may not be fully settled.
- Dental work, a vaccination, or facial laser treatment planned in the following two weeks. Space them apart.
Your injector reviews your medical health history at a complimentary consultation and confirms whether the treatment is appropriate for you before anything is done.
