Most acne visits take about 30 to 45 minutes. A peel is applied and neutralized in the office, extractions are done with sterile technique to protect your skin, and any advice on products or aftercare is tailored to what you had done. You will get clear instructions on how to care for your skin over the next few days.

Downtime is minimal. After a peel your skin may look slightly pink and then flake lightly for a few days as it renews, and extractions can leave brief redness, but most people return to their normal routine right away with sunscreen.
