Patients who want a more significant change in volume or fullness typically achieve a better result with a full syringe.

Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons patients choose this option. Trying a half syringe first allows you to experience the treatment, see how your lips respond, and evaluate the result before committing to more volume. If you love your result and want a little more, you can book a follow-up or upgrade at your next appointment. If you are happy where you are, you can maintain with a half syringe top-up as needed. Starting conservatively is always something we encourage, particularly for patients who are new to lip filler.

A half syringe of Revanesse Lips+ produces a real, visible result, particularly for patients who want more definition along the lip border, a slight increase in projection, or a natural-looking softness that was not there before. It will not produce the level of fullness a complete syringe delivers, and patients with naturally very thin lips may find the result more subtle than they hoped. Yes. If you are comfortable during treatment and want to add more volume after the half syringe has been placed, your provider can apply additional product in the same visit for the difference in price. This is actually a common approach: start with a half syringe, assess the result together with your provider, and decide whether to add more before you leave. You are never obligated to add more, and your provider will never pressure you to do so.

Results from a mini lip filler treatment typically last 6 to 9 months. Because less volume is placed than in a full syringe treatment, the product may metabolize somewhat faster. Individual longevity depends on your lip anatomy, metabolism, activity level, and lifestyle factors. Many patients use a mini appointment as a top-up between full syringe treatments to maintain their result throughout the year.

Some swelling is normal and expected after any lip filler, including a half syringe treatment. With less product placed, initial swelling tends to be somewhat more manageable than after a full syringe, though this varies by individual. Swelling is usually most pronounced in the first 24 to 48 hours and gradually resolves over the following few days. The settled result at one to two weeks is typically softer and more natural-looking than the immediate post-treatment appearance. Bruising is possible but not guaranteed.

Yes. Revanesse Lips+ is a hyaluronic acid filler and can be dissolved using hyaluronidase if you are not satisfied with your result.
