Kristina Simanis, RN, is an aesthetic nurse injector at Express Med Spa in Shorewood. Her clinical background includes women’s health, and she has practiced aesthetics and injectables since 2024.
Kristina knew Express Med Spa as a patient first. She came to the clinic for filler long before she worked here, and when an externship opportunity opened, her passion for women’s health and for all things beauty made it an easy leap. After months of training with Stefanie Drozd, MSN-APRN, the founder and lead nurse practitioner, she joined the Express Med Spa team and has been happily working here since.
Microneedling and facials are her favorite treatments, because she sees skincare as the foundation for great results. She also loves facial balancing, which she describes as an art, and the best part for her is seeing a patient’s happy reaction afterward.
Her approach starts from a simple belief: aging is not a disease. Kristina cares for the whole person: mind, body and soul. She supports and uplifts her patients and sets real, honest expectations, even when the honest answer is no. Patient safety is her number one priority, along with making sure every patient feels comfortable, cared for and welcomed just as they are, with no judgment.
