Welcome to Express Med Spas. These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your access to and use of our website, https://expressmedspas.com (the Site), and our services and facilities at all Express Med Spas locations in Illinois. By accessing the Site, booking an appointment, using our services, or opting into our mobile messaging program, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated Last Updated date. Your continued use of the Site or our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1. Services and Appointments

Express Med Spas (operated by EXPRESS MED SPA SHOREWOOD LLC) provides medical spa services that may include facials, injectables, skincare treatments, and wellness services. Services are performed by licensed professionals as applicable.

Booking and Cancellations: Appointments may be booked online, by phone, or in person. We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be charged 50% of the scheduled service price. No-shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled service price.

Refunds and Adjustments: Services are not refundable once performed. Gift cards, packages, and prepaid services may be subject to separate terms at time of purchase. Any refunds, if approved, may be subject to processing fees.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to book or receive services without a parent or legal guardian, unless otherwise permitted by law.

Health Disclaimers: Treatment outcomes vary by individual. You are responsible for disclosing relevant medical history and following post-care instructions. If you have medical concerns, consult a qualified healthcare provider.

2. SMS and Mobile Messaging Program Terms

EXPRESS MED SPA SHOREWOOD LLC, doing business as Express Med Spas (we, us, our), operates a mobile messaging program that sends two categories of text messages to individuals who have affirmatively opted in.

Message Categories

Non-Marketing Messages: appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, post-care instructions, and service-related notices
Marketing Messages: special offers, seasonal promotions, skincare tips, and announcements

Business Identity: Express Med Spas is a medical spa providing skincare and wellness services at multiple Illinois locations. The messages you receive depend on the selections you made at opt-in.

We operate as DBA Express Med Spas across all Illinois locations, including Shorewood, Frankfort, La Grange, and others.

All locations operate under this DBA for unified messaging across the company.

User Opt-In and Consent: Users may opt in by selecting separate consent checkboxes on our website forms (one for marketing messages and one for non-marketing messages) or by written authorization during in-person intake. Consent is not a condition of purchase and is not required to book an appointment. By opting in, you confirm the phone number provided is your own and that you have authority to consent to receive text messages at that number.

Message Frequency and Costs: Message frequency may vary based on your activity and selections. You may receive up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Opt-Out and Support Mechanisms:
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to (708) 840-8443. After you send the SMS message STOP, we will send a message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again.

Carrier Liability Clause: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

All SMS communications are intended to comply with TCPA, CTIA, and applicable A2P messaging requirements.

3. Payments and Billing

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods made available at checkout. Prices are in USD and may change without notice. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge for services, fees, and applicable taxes. Billing disputes must be reported within 7 days of the charge date.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and video, is owned by Express Med Spas or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or exploit Site content without our prior written permission.

5. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Express Med Spas and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the appropriate courts located in Illinois.
