Nasolabial Fold Filler

Nasolabial folds are the lines that run from the sides of your nose down to the corners of your mouth. They are a natural part of facial anatomy, but they tend to deepen with age as the skin loses collagen and the fat pads in the face shift downward. Some patients notice prominent folds even at a younger age due to genetics, facial structure, or significant weight changes.

We use Revanesse Versa+, a hyaluronic acid filler that is FDA-cleared for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds in adults 22 years and older. It is designed to integrate naturally into the tissue and provide smooth, consistent correction with minimal swelling.

Most appointments take 30 to 45 minutes from start to finish. That includes a brief review of your goals and anatomy, the injection itself, and a few minutes of post-treatment care. The actual injections typically take 10 to 15 minutes.

The filler formulation contains lidocaine, a local anesthetic built into the product, which helps reduce discomfort significantly during injection. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure or a brief pinch. Topical numbing cream is also available if you would like additional comfort before we begin.

Yes, and many patients do. Nasolabial fold filler pairs naturally with cheek or midface volumizing, marionette line filler, and neurotoxin treatments for a more comprehensive result. Treating the midface at the same time can also help improve the nasolabial folds from above, which sometimes reduces the amount of product needed in the fold itself. Your provider will discuss what combination makes the most sense for your goals.

Downtime is minimal. Mild swelling is common and usually peaks within the first 24 to 48 hours. Bruising can occur and may last up to 5 days depending on your skin. You can return to work and most normal activities right away. We ask that patients avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and significant heat or sun exposure for the first 24 to 48 hours after treatment.

Revanesse Versa+ is a hyaluronic acid filler and can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase if you are not satisfied with your result.
