Express Med Spa carries Botox, Xeomin and Letybo. They are separate products, and each has its own FDA label. Express Med Spa does not carry Dysport. If you want Botox specifically, ask for it by name at your consultation, and confirm which product is being used before your injection.

Individual wrinkle relaxer treatments are priced per unit: starting at $10.95 per unit for first-time clients and for returning clients treated in the last 3 to 4 months, and starting at $12.95 per unit for returning clients treated more than 4 months ago. Your total depends on the number of units in your plan. Price is subject to change, and your final price is based on a planned consultation with staff.

Every patient's anatomy is different and no dosing is the same, so the number of units is planned with you at your visit. For reference, the BOTOX Cosmetic prescribing information lists a total of 20 units for frown lines between the brows. Some booking options are set by units, such as Tox Sprinkle (20 units).

Tell your injector how much expression you want to keep. Your injector plans the number of units with you at your visit. Results are temporary, and you can talk through changes at your follow-up visit.

Wrinkle relaxers are injected with a very fine needle; the BOTOX Cosmetic label calls for a 30 to 33 gauge needle. The BOTOX Cosmetic Medication Guide lists discomfort or pain at the injection site as a possible side effect. If you are nervous, tell your injector so they can walk you through each step.

For frown lines, the BOTOX Cosmetic prescribing information says the initial doses typically act on the injected muscles one to two days after injection, increasing in intensity during the first week, and that the effect lasts approximately 3 to 4 months. Our booking menu advises allowing 5 to 7 days for results to begin. Xeomin and Letybo have their own labels, so ask your injector what to expect from the product you receive.

A follow-up visit, booked as Injection Follow-Up/Dosing Adjustment, evaluates your results after treatment. If a neurotoxin touch-up is required, the first 2 units are complimentary.

The BOTOX Cosmetic Medication Guide lists possible side effects including discomfort or pain at the injection site, headache, neck pain, drooping eyelids or eyebrows, swelling of the eyelids, dry eyes and vision problems. It also warns that BOTOX and BOTOX Cosmetic may cause serious side effects that can be life threatening, including problems breathing or swallowing and spread of toxin effects, which can happen hours, days, to weeks after an injection, and says to call your doctor or get medical help right away if you have problems swallowing, speaking or breathing. The guide notes there has not been a confirmed serious case of spread of toxin effect away from the injection site when BOTOX Cosmetic has been used at the recommended dose to treat frown lines, crow's feet lines, forehead lines or vertical bands connecting the jaw and neck. Share your full medical history with your injector before treatment.
